MemeStrategy (HKEX: 2440) Expands Pokémon Collectibles Card Business to the Chinese Mainland and Overseas Markets Through Strategic Partnership with China’s Industry Leader PokeColor
  • Company targets a collectibles card market worth more than US$10 billion with a comprehensive card ecosystem

HKSAR, China, 29 April, 2026 — MemeStrategy, Inc. (“MemeStrategy” or “the Company”; HKEX: 2440), an Asia publicly listed digital asset company, today announced a significant expansion of its collectibles card business, with a strategic focus on globally sought-after Pokémon trading cards and sports cards.

The Company also announced a strategic partnership with PokeColor, a leading trading card company in China. Under the partnership, the two parties will jointly expand into Chinese Mainland and overseas markets. MemeStrategy said it plans build out a broad-based card ecosystem encompassing card sourcing, VIP trading services, authenticated secondary-market trading, auctions, professional custody and storage, as well as co-branded card launches with cultural and lifestyle IPs, as it seeks to broaden its presence across the trading card value chain.

MemeStrategy, whose core business is focused on trend-driven cultural collectibles, said it sees substantial long-term potential in the collectibles card sector. The global collectibles card market continues to grow rapidly, with international grading agencies reporting record volumes of card submissions. While the ecosystem in Western markets is relatively mature, Asian markets remain at an earlier stage of development, offering significant growth potential. Against this backdrop, MemeStrategy said it will deepen its engagement in the card sector through the development of a comprehensive card ecosystem and closer collaboration with PokeColor.

In March of this year, MemeStrategy and PokeColor demonstrated early market traction through the successful co-hosting of CARDJOY x Grade10 in Hangzhou, the first game card show of its kind in the Chinese Mainland, which attracted more than 10,000 visitors.

Hanru Tang, Founder of PokeColor, said, “The collectibles card market is rapidly evolving from single-product transactions into ecosystem-driven competition, underpinned by the deep integration of supply chains, grading, content, communities and distribution channels. PokeColor has spent years building capabilities in upstream sourcing and professional grading, and this strategic partnership with MemeStrategy will enable us to extend these industry advantages from the Chinese Mainland to Hong Kong and overseas markets. Together, we aim to provide collectors, card dealers and business partners with more efficient, transparent and reliable service experiences.”

Ray Chan, Chief Executive Officer of MemeStrategy and Grade10, said, “MemeStrategy has long been confident in the long-term growth potential of the collectibles card sector. While the market continues to offer substantial headroom for expansion, we believe sustainable growth depends on the development of a complete ecosystem that connects trading, communities, exhibitions and technology infrastructure. Our collaboration with PokeColor positions us to capture opportunities arising from continued market growth and international expansion, while enhancing transparency, circulation efficiency and global connectivity across the industry through e-commerce platforms, brand co-building and large-scale events.”

Collectible cards sit at the intersection of culture, community and asset circulation

According to Strategic Market Research, the global trading cards market is projected to grow from US$15.8 billion in 2024 to US$23.5 billion by 2030*. The market’s rapid expansion is driven by multiple factors, including increased trading activity, the rise of professional grading, broader content distribution, growing community engagement, live pack-breaking formats, exhibition events and the expansion of cross-border e-commerce^. Research from Research and Markets further indicates that virtual bidding, blockchain technology and upgraded grading services are reshaping transaction efficiency and authenticity verification across the sector#.

Trading card market moves toward platformization, branding, and globalization

MemeStrategy has continued to build its presence in the collectible cards segment in recent years. Following its acquisition of the established collectibles card brand Grade10 in September 2025, the Company partnered in January this year with Crown Fine Art, a leading international art storage institution, to launch Grade10 Vault, a premium custody service for collectible cards. The service adopts blockchain-based record-keeping to provide digital certification that is transparent, traceable and tamper-resistant. In parallel, the Company has launched Grade10 AI, an AI-powered search platform designed to enhance information access and transaction efficiency within the trading card ecosystem.

In February this year, the Group launched what it described as the world’s first tokenized Pokémon card fund, offering professional investors an institutional-grade participation channel via the licensed platform EVIDENT. The fund focuses on “blue-chip” Pokémon cards, specifically PSA 10 graded Van Gogh Pikachu cards, the Company said represents the formal evolution of cultural collectibles into institutional-grade assets.

From 19 to 21 June 2026, the Company will host the fifth edition of Grade10 Fest Summer at Hopewell Hotel in Wan Chai, which is billed as Hong Kong’s largest collectibles card expo and themed around the 30th anniversary of Pokémon. Previous editions of Grade10’s card exhibitions have each attracted more than 23,000 attendances and over 120 exhibitors. This year’s event is expected to exceed prior editions in scale, with the aim of providing card enthusiasts with a distinctive summer experience while further supporting the development of card culture in Hong Kong and across Asia.
