HKSAR, 21 May 2026 —— Hong Kong’s largest trading card event, Grade10 FEST Summer 2026, is set to make a triumphant return this summer!

The trading card market is experiencing an unprecedented boom in 2026. Widely regarded as “paper gold”, the global trading card craze shows no signs of slowing down. According to Mordor Intelligence, the global Trading Card Game (TCG) market is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 10.03%, surpassing USD24.36 billion by 2031*. The market has evolved far beyond competitive gameplay, progressively transforming into a multifaceted culture that encompasses art collecting, investment, and community engagement. As one of the earliest large-scale events in Hong Kong and Asia to focus on the “Cards x Culture x Commerce” ecosystem, Grade10 has hosted four editions since its inaugural launch of the Grade10 FEST in May 2024, establishing itself as the region’s benchmark platform and leading event for card culture – pioneering the integration of grading systems, cross-IP card brands, and local and cross-border merchant and collector networks to build a one-stop card culture hub, while driving the market from speculation to value co-creation through cross-industry collaborations and grading standardization.

This Dragon Boat Festival weekend, Hong Kong’s largest trading card event returns once again! Grade10 FEST Summer 2026 is more than just a gathering, it is committed to driving the progress and growth of the card market. The latest edition brings together exhibitors from around the world, cross-industry art and IP collaborations, and an all-new immersive format, creating a card culture celebration unlike anything seen before and showcasing the boundless possibilities of the hobby.

Grade10 FEST Summer 2026 will be held from 19 to 21 June (Friday to Sunday) at the Grand Ballroom, 16/ F, Hopewell Hotel, Wan Chai, Hong Kong. Tickets go on sale tomorrow (22 May) via three designated platforms: EXPERIENCE 11, POPTICKET, and 01 Space (ticketing links available in the event details below). This edition brings together over 120 local and international exhibitors from markets including the Mainland Chinese, the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines, featuring heavyweight names such as China’s leading card platform PokeColor, renowned US auction house Goldin, grading authority CGC Cards, and Japanese card trading platform Clove, creating Hong Kong’s largest trading card marketplace and exchange.

The First Card Show Themed Around Pokémon’s 30th Anniversary!

Showcased by China’s leading card platform PokeColor, these rare cards span from 1996 to 2024, offering a comprehensive journey through nearly 30 years of Pokémon TCG history.

Among the highlights are the universally acclaimed 1998 “Pikachu Illustrator” card (PSA 9), recognized as one of the most valuable Pokémon cards in the world and holder of a record-breaking sale price; the historically significant 1996 March Playtest Pikachu (CGC Authentic); the 1996 first-edition Charizard hand-signed by original illustrator Mitsuhiro Arita (CGC Pristine 10); and the highly coveted Umbreon Gold Star (CGC Pristine 10), which fetched USD48,500 (approximately HKD378,300) at auction in late 2025.
